Today at the Health and Social Care Committee, Lucy had the opportunity to interview care worker Chevonne Baker, as part of the Committee’s inquiry into recruitment, training and retention in the health sector.
Ms Baker’s evidence to the committee will be considered carefully and included in the final report, due to be issued later this year. Later in the session, Lucy heard further evidence from a number of senior NHS Executives about the future of general practice – which will also be released this year.
Lucy has used her platform as a member of the Health and Social Care Committee to further the views of constituents in Telford and continue to fight for better healthcare provision for her constituents.
