Yesterday in Parliament, Lucy Allan MP attended the British Plastics Federation's parliamentary reception, bringing together Ministers, manufacturers and MPs.
Lucy met with Telford plastic manufacturing business CEDO, who have developed a comprehensive sustainability programme that ensures that their plastics are re-used and recycled. CEDO is a key local employer and is driving sustainable change in the plastics industry.
CEDO produce bin bags, aluminium foil, cling film and other essentials. They have committed to purchase materials only from ethical suppliers, achieve climate neutrality by 2030 and send zero waste to landfill sites. Lucy was delighted to hear from such a pioneering local manufacturer with a focus on sustainability.
