As part of the £1 billion Cultural Recovery Fund (CRF), three cultural sites in Telford have received funding through the CRF, totalling £1,928,800:
- Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust (£1,860,000)
- The Arts Centre Telford (£52,100)
- World Heritage UK (£16,700)
This money will ensure that our arts and heritage sites can remain viable throughout the pandemic. The CRF has to date protected 75,000 jobs across the arts sector, with 70% of revenue grants and 87% of capital grants allocated outside London.
The programme has been overseen by an independent Culture Recovery Board, made up of industry experts, to ensure rigorous due diligence across the CRF.
The Government is currently designing a further round of funding to support organisations as they transition back to reopening. A new round of loan applications will open before Christmas, and grants in the New Year.
This will be the last opportunity for organisations to access the Culture Recovery Fund. More information is available on the Government's website here.
