In order to meet the Government's ambitious vaccination programme, the NHS is seeking volunteers to assist the rollout in Telford.
The volunteer recruitment programme across Telford and Shropshire is being led by Shropshire Rural Communities Charity (RCC).
You do not need medical experience to apply. Volunteers are required to support rapid testing centres and vaccination services, and clinical experience is not a necessary prerequisite. Everyone who registers their interest to volunteer will be assessed and receive appropriate training and guidance.
Available roles:
- Rapid Testing Centre Receptionist
- Rapid Testing Centre Results Recorder
- Vaccination Marshal
- Vaccination Marshal (Car Parking)
You can read more and apply here.
You can also read more about how you can help out in the pandemic on Lucy's website here.

"The speed of the vaccine rollout has given us all some optimism for the year ahead and the Government and NHS are working around the clock to ensure that the most vulnerable are protected as soon as possible. I would strongly encourage Telford residents to consider volunteering if they are able to, with many different roles on offer."
