Lucy Allan MP has welcomed progress on the construction of the new Telford Digital Hub at the heart of the station quarter.
The Government has invested some £22.3 million in Telford through the Towns Fund, with £17 million being spent in the Town centre, financing the regeneration of the station quarter with the Digital Hub at its heart.
The Digital Hub, with its partners at Telford College & Harper Adams University, will provide training, educations and business support for residents of all ages and helping people to get the skills needed for the modern workplace.
As a member of the Telford Towns Fund Board, Lucy is proud to see work well underway and progress being made on the project. The Government’s £2.3 billion Towns Fund is a key part of levelling up in communities across the country, delivering key projects that will spearhead growth and opportunity.
In addition to Lucy, the Towns Fund Board is also composed of local stakeholders and community leaders, working collaboratively with the Government, to help secure Telford’s future and ensure its recovery from the pandemic.
