This week, Lucy visited the Mini Vinnies at St Luke’s Catholic Primary School in Trench to hold a Q&A session on politics.
The Mini Vinnies are part of the St Vincent de Paul society, a Christian organisation which is dedicated to tackling poverty and helping those in need.
St Luke’s is currently rated “Good” by Ofsted, an improvement on its previous inspection, and Lucy was impressed by the dedication of staff and the quality of schooling.
Lucy Allan MP said:
School visits are some of my favourite constituency events, and I always enjoy meeting children to discuss politics and their place in our community.
As ever, I was impressed by the interesting and challenging questions they asked and how engaged the children were.
I am grateful to St Luke’s and the Mini Vinnies for hosting me and look forward to visiting again soon.
