Today in Parliament Lucy Allan MP raised the issue of those Civil Servants responsible for the Post Office at the time of the Horizon scandal, who have not been named as core participants to the Statutory Inquiry.
Lucy has written to the Inquiry Chair, Sir Wyn Williams providing him with a list of Civil Servants with responsibility for the Post Office and for Fujitsu (the supplier of the Horizon system) at the relevant time. Lucy has long argued that all those who were paid by the taxpayer to ensure the Post Office was properly run and to ensure that the Horizon system worked, must be held to account.
Many of these people are still in post in the Cabinet Office and still get paid by the taxpayer despite these horrendous failings. That is clearly wrong.
