Today in Parliament, Lucy Allan MP asked Treasury Minister Simon Clarke what more can be done by Government to mitigate the impact of the rising cost of living on households in Telford.
The Minister responded by highlighting the £9.1 billion extra cash assigned to support households with the cost of living over the 2022/23 financial year and an ambition to go further to alleviate price rises resulting from the war in Ukraine.
