Local MP, Lucy Allan has today submitted her response to the public consultation on the Terms of Reference for the Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Inquiry in Telford.
The Chair and the Commissioning Body for the Independent Inquiry into Telford Child Sexual Exploitation recently opened a public consultation on the Inquiry’s Terms of Reference.
In her response, Lucy Allan emphasised her belief that any victim of CSE that occurred in Telford and wishes to participate in the inquiry should be allowed to do so. Ms Allan also recommended that the inquiry be dealt with expeditiously to ensure public confidence in the process and importantly justice for survivors.
The consultation is open to anyone to provide views on the areas on which the Inquiry’s work should focus.
