Lucy Allan MP has written to the Interim Chief Executive of the Co-op to enquire about the future of the Dawley branch, which is earmarked for prospective closure.
The branch is an important community asset and contains a Post Office which many residents rely on. Lucy has made enquiries with the Co-op and intends to raise the matter in Parliament.
Lucy has also raised the matter with Paul Scully MP, the Minister with responsibility for Post Offices who has been of great help supporting Lucy’s campaign to seek justice for sub-Postmasters who were wronged by the Horizon scandal.
