Today, Lucy Allan MP visited the new station quarter with other members of the Telford Towns Fund board.
The Towns Fund is a Government initiative that will see a £22 million investment in Telford to promote skills training and development, following a successful bid last year. The centrepiece of the bid is the regeneration of Telford’s Station Quarter, with the construction of a new maths and digital skills hub devised in collaboration with Telford College.
The scheme is a key part of levelling up and driving opportunity in the town.
Lucy and the Towns Fund Board, composed of local stakeholders and community leaders, today visited the site, where work is already underway.

I am delighted that work has already begun to realisE the vision for the regeneration of the station quarter. The new Maths and Digital Skills Hub will drive opportunity across Telford, helping people to upskill and earn new qualifications.
This project is at the heart of this Government’s levelling up agenda, putting training and skills at the heart of the local economy and driving innovation and growth in Telford.
