Today in Parliament, the Health and Social Care Committee took its first evidence session on the future of General Practice.
The Committee discussed NHS recruitment and retention, patient capacity, challenges facing GPs and health inequalities leading to poorer patient outcomes in disadvantaged areas.
Lucy has long been an advocate of continuity of care, which improves outcomes across the Health and Social Care system and improves and GP morale but is seldom an option in the NHS as it stands.
Lucy will continue to fight for more continuity of care and joined up care to drive improved health outcomes for residents.
