Today in Parliament, Lucy Allan MP asked Defence Secretary Ben Wallace MP how MOD Donnington's logistical experience could be used to accelerate vaccinations.
The Defence Secretary, who has visited Donnington during the pandemic, thanked the civil servants and other MOD staff at Donnington and praised the experience of its personnel.
Donnington is not currently being used as a vaccine hub, although many of the logistics used to distribute vaccines are being routed through the site. The Defence Secretary assured Lucy that the MOD and the army was ready to support the rollout from Donnington in any capacity it was required.
