“I am very saddened to learn that a resident with coronavirus, has passed away at the Princess Royal Hospital. My deepest condolences go to her friends and family. I understand that there were underlying health conditions and that the virus can be especially dangerous for those with certain medical complications. I have been assured by the Hospital Trust of our preparedness across our local health economy to deal with coronavirus and that all the appropriate measures are being taken.
I am very grateful to all those caring for our community at this very difficult time. We must continue work together to support those most at risk and to follow the guidance of health professionals.
Telford is a resilient town and I have real faith in our community spirit to get us through this deeply challengingly time.”
